A fervent advocate of diversity, Dwayne thrives on developing empowered teams and collaborative work environments guided through an unconditional commitment to ethical management on all levels, with finance in service to people and the planet.
Naylor has more than 25 years’ experience as a leader—many during organizational transitions and direction-setting for strategic growth. Prior to his current role, Naylor served as President of Civic Federal Credit Union since 2018. Before that, he filled the role of Chief Operating Officer for Local Government Federal Credit Union. His earlier career included working as Executive Vice President at Langley Federal Credit Union in Virginia from 2005 to 2014 and serving as Executive Vice President at LGFCU until 2005. His credit union calling was ignited at State Employees’ Credit Union, where he rose through the ranks to become Vice President of Audit Services.
Naylor earned a Global Executive MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and is a 2015 graduate of ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton. He began his university experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban and Regional Planning from East Carolina University. He holds the designations of Certified Chief Executive, Certified Credit Union Executive, and Credit Union Development Educator.
Naylor resides with his wife in the Triangle area of North Carolina, adjusting to his two children attending and living at university. Dwayne is currently working toward a Ph.D. in Organizational Sustainability, bolstering the mission to evolve the organizations into a values-based banking model.
