Sandy Steward is the Chief Technology Officer of both Civic and Local Government Federal Credit Unions. In this role, Steward has made it her team's focus to plan for the future while meeting the technology needs of today.

She began her technology career in 1998, serving in the United States Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician. Today, Steward is a 17-year veteran of the credit union industry holding a Bachelor of Science degree in computer information systems from Saint Leo University, and a Master of Science degree from the Florida Institute of Technology.

A 20-plus-year veteran of the credit union industry, Pete VanGraafeiland received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Elon University. He earned a Master of Business Administration in Corporate Finance from Campbell University, and a Master of Management, Risk and Analytics from North Carolina State University. He is also a Credit Union Certified Executive.

VanGraafeiland says the Member Services team, “has the privilege of interacting and assisting our members with any of their financial needs.”

Neal Chaloupka is the Chief Lending Officer at both LGFCU and Civic FCU.

Chaloupka has been a financial services professional for more than 30 years. He joined LGFCU in 2015 as Vice President of Lending and became the Senior Vice President of Lending at Civic in 2018. Currently, his team's focus is to develop financial products for consumers, businesses and nonprofits in addition to the day-to-day loan operations

He has an undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee and earned his master's degree from Nova Southeastern University.

Sherry Bear is the Chief Administrative Officer for LGFCU and Civic Federal Credit Union. A financial professional who’s worked in the credit union industry for more than 35 years, Bear collaborates closely with the CEO to set and drive the organizational vision for operational strategy.
